Continuation of the Dry Spell, Courtesy of Various Winter Bugs

So let's see, the month of February has seen:

Both me and the hubby with some sort of cold at first

The minion getting a stomach bug

Then the minion getting chickenpox, which he is still recovering from

Then during his chickenpox, the hubby and I have come down with a stomach bug that we are recovering from

...NEEDLESS to say it has not been ideal blogging weather. @.@

However, I do have some ideas I've been writing up on the side on the odd time I'm able to get to a computer, so hopefully, after this weekend, I'll be back on a somewhat regular schedule for things for better write ups and the like.

A few fast things to report:

-Classic Iori looks fucking amazing and the color choices are perfect(the purple one is only missing the purple hair, otherwise its his iconic old 2p look, I love it)

-The KoF WCS were quite fun though ft1 drains some hype. (M' is a beast though, his K' and his Iori wall to wall destruction mountain is scaarrry.) I think they did okay with their first WCS though, and I think with time it'll grow to be actually really cool(I sorta feel it was supposed to be more epic since the top 4 would have been played separately, allowing for more sets on another day since it would have been split, but since that didn't happen they had to cram it all into a limited time.)

-Hype for the announcements! What DLC Characters are we getting? Ash team? CYS? Yamazaki and some others?

-Meitenkun's pajamas DLC is brilliant

-This weekend on Saturday starting 5pm JST(use a time zone converter to find your time!) we're getting Zadi vs. Karinchu in the Mikado League in Rev, ft10, Raven vs. Johnny and it's set to be awesome. We're also getting Summit's Chipp vs. Nage's Faust!

-Oh yeah, I've basically been I think maining Raven now in Rev. While I still play a lot of Sol, this marks the first time in ages that I've actively swapped a main. I think since...DR actually. Raven is just so much fun and the new upcoming Excitement changes(I'll go into that in a separate blog) just have me really...well, excited since they sound so fun. I love the sound of playing a snowballing, damage-mounting S&M engine of destruction over 'Knockdown into ball oki.' Dude is finally being made as intended!

Apologies for the dry spell

Greetings all!

Yeah, so things here have been pretty hectic; the whole family managed to catch some winter crud, so the minion's sleeping schedule has been roughly something out of what we usually have when we're jetlagged after flying back from the US. Last night was the first time I slept 3-4 hours at night in a few days.

(Generally I had been snoozing between like 6 am to 10 am, and then in the afternoon a few more hours, only to be up all night. He's been congested and it makes it hard for him to sleep.)

Things are looking a BIT better now, albeit we're still tired, cruddy and half on a jetlag schedule instead of fully.

I'll be back to bring you your regularly scheduled FGC stuff(including a for-fun KOF tier list I decided to screw around with), as soon as I can get some time to finish a couple of blogs(which I have been scribbling when I get a chance, but I've ALSO been trying to edit a larger thing I've been working on and this takes up what little time I have. I've even been deprived of video game time. Q_Q)
